Not Short on Talent “Tease The Audience”
RDV Canada
I Hate Babies, a darkly funny short by Sidney Leeder, Alona Metzer, and Walter Woodman, has the wit and bite to match its bold title. The film follows Mona, a woman surrounded by "mombies" — new parents obsessed with the joys of child-rearing. They swear it's the best thing that ever happened to them. Mona isn't so sure. With her IUD recently removed, the possibility of pregnancy looms large. While pregnancy may be one of the realest things a person can experience, it's not for everyone. This short confidently explores a range of perspectives on the topic — and doesn't flinch.
